Carissa's Wierd has always been a major inspiration to me, and I've always felt a strong connection to this song. I was able to catch their reunion show out in Seattle in November of 2019, and it inspired me to release this cover in 2020.

What started off as some demos that I had planned to chuck onto a hard drive and dump in the back of one of my many junk drawers, ended up becoming a full-fledged band with some of my best buds from old projects. We write songs about anxiety, nostalgia, bad luck, and every once in a while we write an entire song dragging me on my superstitions.

Three friendos came together to write heavy songs about heavy things - this project is on hiatus since we’re now kind of scattered around the country at this point. Who knows, maybe someday we’ll be able to see each other again and we can cut another record.
